Economic Development FAQ
Do you have any incentives?
Yes, we do! Please take a look at our incentive information. We believe in partnering with our businesses so that everyone benefits. Our incentives include revenue sharing with sales tax as well as specific agreements negotiated based on your needs as a business.
How quick is your development review process?
Well, we handled the development review for the last major big box retail in under 45 days….so we’re quick! We realize that time is money. Our success was based on the well prepared applicant as well as our responsive and common sense oriented staff. We’re small, so you when you work with us you work directly with the decision makers on staff. Our elected officials are very progressive and want us to make your experience as cost effective and pleasant as possible.
Are there other resources to use in Evans?
Of course! We have a local Chamber of Commerce, a Small Business Development Center, a great business library, the Office of Economic Development and International Trade, and many others that exist to serve your needs. You can find all of these resources and more on our Links page.
I just need a business license. Can you help?
